A GOOD NIGHT’S SLEEP

If a good night’s sleep is what we all want, why is it placed so often on our low priority list? With our lives spent stretching ourselves to the limit; filled with responsibilities, it is sometimes easy to consider a full night’s sleep to be an unnecessary waste of time. In fact it is an indispensable way of recharging our physical and mental energy.During the program you will be walked through a step by step plan to help you create a sleep routine and regulate your sleep cycle. Targeting more hours and better quality sleep is our goal!

Before you start to address your sleep, you’ll need to take a look at your sleep-wake habits.

ACTION STEP: Today through Saturday evening, track your sleep habits. Place a pen and paper on your nightstand and answer the following questions:

  • Time you went to bed?
  • How many times did you wake in the night? If you did wake, did you wake to urinate?
  • Did you wake feeling rested?
  • Total hours slept last night?
  • Did you watch TV last night? If so, how late?
