While the hyssop, chamomile and catnip in this Cold and Respiratory Tea are among the herbs that boast calming qualities that will help you manage a cold, the yerba sante, yallow flower and thyme can soothe your congestion and cough.

 

2 tsp hyssop leaves

1 tsp chamomile

1 tsp mint-pepper or spear

1 tsp yerba sante

1 tsp thyme

1 tsp lemongrass

1 tsp mullein (if cough)

1 tsp yarrow flower

1 tsp catnip

 

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix together and use 1 rounded tsp per mug of hot water, or 2 T per tea pot. Steep 3 to 5 minutes, depending on taste. Do not over-steep as it becomes bitter. Drink throughout the day for upper and lower respiratory congestion and body aches and pains.
