Spiced Cashew Cream with Fruit

SERVES EIGHT (65 calories per serving + 60 calories carbohydrates)

1/2 cup raw cashews

1/2 cup hot water

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp honey

Coarse sea salt

Apple and/or pear slices, for serving

 

INSTRUCTIONS

Soak cashews in water for 30 minutes. Discard water and transfer to a blender with cinnamon and honey and blend until smooth. Season with salt and refrigerate in an airtight container up to 1 week. Serve with apple and/or pear slices.
